An early 20th century Arts and Crafts oak side cabinet, possibly by the Guild of Handicraft, fitted with two frieze drawers above a pair of panelled doors, with applied patinated copper handle plates and ornamental hinge plates, raised on a shaped plinth base, height 76cm, width 94cm, depth 43cm. Note: very similar handles can be seen illustrated in 'Sir Ambrose Heal and the Heal Cabinet Factory 1897-1939' by Oliver S. Heal, page 151, attributed to a wardrobe designed by C.R. Ashbee.
