A Meissen porcelain Academic or 'Dot' period circular bowl, circa 1770, painted with a panel of Cupid seated with a putto on clouds, opposing two playful cherubs on clouds, beneath a gilt scroll edged blue scale border to the rim, the base interior with a floral spray, crossed swords and dot in underglaze blue to base, diameter 16.5cm.
