An impressive mid-19th century French ormolu portico clock, the drum-cased eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the white enamel circular dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Motel de Choiseul à Paris' within a cast foliate surround, the architectural pediment with dentil cornice and egg and dart band above four turned columns, each on a stepped pedestal, plinth base and bracket feet, height 62cm, with pendulum.
