A late 19th century ebonized and simulated walnut tableau comtoise wall clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, twice on the hour, the painted circular dial with Roman numerals and inscribed 'Casimir Payan Carcassone', the hinged and glazed front of shaped square outline enclosing a walnut surround with four ebonized panels with inlaid mother-of-pearl decoration, height 47cm, with pendulum and winding key.
