BRITISH ART. The Imperial Gallery of British Art… engraved on steel. London: Cassell & Company, Limited, [n.d. but circa 1887]. Division 1 (of 4), folio (586 x 456mm.) Title, contents, 12 engraved plates, 1 plate from division 4 loosely inserted (complete for this division, lacking the 36 plates of the other 3 divisions, occasional browning and spotting to margins, minor marks to 2 plates.) Original cloth-backed boards (rubbing, slight staining). Note: contains plates by Constable, Turner, Gainsborough and Reynolds. - And two related volumes (including a book of engravings relating to 'Versailles') (3).
