LOT 370
A Charles I provincial silver seal top spoon, the flared hexagonal stem with gilt baluster finial, the top inscribed 'AB 1630 AT', the fig shaped bowl interior struck with fleurs-de-lys enclosed in a pelleted circle, the stem back struck with similar fleur-de-lys mark and two 'WD' marks, probably Lincoln, circa 1630, length 17.1cm. Note: see page 443 of Jackson's 'English Silversmiths and their Marks' for illustration of maker's mark.
