A Chinese lacquered carved wood figure of Shoulao, probably Fuzhou (Foochow), late Qing dynasty, modelled standing holding a gnarled staff and gilt peach, wearing a long black, brown, red and gilt robe, raised on an integral carved and pierced rocky base with pine branch to front, height 39cm (minor losses).
