LOT 1055
A Chinese famille rose enamelled porcelain bottle vase, mark of Guangxu and probably of the period, the globular body painted with iron red bats flying amidst polychrome vapours, framing alternating panels of fruiting peach branches and magpies perched in prunus branches, the flared neck with further bats and vapours, between pink ground banded borders filled with polychrome lotus and scrolling tendrils, underglaze blue six character mark to base, height 43cm.
