A collection of Roman Empire coins, all with envelopes detailed in ink with identification and location of find, the majority found in the first third of the 20th century in the London environs by George Fabian Lawrence, otherwise known as 'Stoney Jack', including a Hadrian (117-138 AD) sestertius, a Crispina (178-182 AD) as and a Vespasian (69-79 AD) sestertius. Note: George Fabian Lawrence was a well-known antiquary. He pioneered London's archaeological discoveries, spending much of his time exploring building sites and educating navvies in what to look for while excavating. His most renowned discovery was the Cheapside Hoard.
