A late 19th century French slate and marble mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the two-piece enamel dial with black Roman numerals, Brocot escapement, and detailed 'J.W. Benson, Ludgate Hill...', the case of architectural form on a plinth base, height 44cm, with pendulum and two winding keys.
