PRIVATE PRESS. - Robert VANSITTART. The Singing Caravan - a Sufi Tale. Montgomeryshire: Gregynog Press, 1932. Limited edition, this being number 83 of 250 copies on hand-made paper, 4to (277 x 171mm.) Wood-engraved frontispiece and decorative initials by William MacCance. (Mild spotting, browning to margins, uncut leaves.) Original sheep covered boards, gilt titles to spine and upper cover (rubbing to all extremities, a burn mark to upper cover). - And two more volumes relating to the East. Note: Vansittart was a cousin of T.E. Lawrence who himself had links with the Gregynog press and suggested this project to William MacCance (3).
