YARRELL, William. A History of British Fishes. London: John van Voorst, 1841. 2 vols., second edition, 8vo (218 x 129mm.) Numerous wood-engraved illustrations. (Spotting to front and rear blanks.) Contemporary calf, six raised bands to spine with gilt lettering to the second and third compartments (rubbing to extremities, stain to lower cover of volume 1, wear to raised band of volume 2). - And twenty-two more volumes on fishing (including a signed copy of Frank Buckland's 'Fish Hatching', 1863, 8vo) (24).
