BLAKE, William (illustrator). - Robert BLAIR. The Grave, a poem… illustrated by Twelve Etchings. London: T. Bensley, 1808. First edition, 4to (344 x 266mm.) Portrait frontispiece of William Blake, 6pp. list of subscribers, Blake's dedicatory poem to the Queen, 12 engraved plates by Louis Schiavonetti after etchings by Blake. (Damp-stain to upper margin throughout, minor soiling, finger-marks to title.) Contemporary green half-morocco, five raised bands to spine with red morocco lettering piece to the second compartment (heavily rubbed, some fraying to the cloth). Provenance: J.L. Knell (ink name to front free endpaper).
