A large duck egg blue French opaline glass vase, 19th century, the tapered body applied with an oval panel, painted after Pierre Olivier Joseph Coomans with Her Favourite Pet, within a gilded edge and white and gilt enamelled foliate frame, to the reverse a winged figure with foliate lower half in white and gilt, raised on a similarly decorated circular foot beneath the flared neck, painted 'Pet Bird Coomans' to base, height 56cm, converted to electricity (minor loss to edge of panel).
