A Chinese blue hardstone vase and cover, late 20th century, probably lapis lazuli, of flattened spade form, each side carved in relief with archaistic motifs, flanked by a pair of mask and loose ring handles, the cover with Buddhistic lion and cub finial, height 40cm, together with a carved and pierced hardwood stand.
