A Japanese Satsuma earthenware koro and cover by Kozan, Meiji period, modelled in the form of a hexagonal lantern, painted and gilt with figures and flowers reserved against a blue and gilt ground, gilt signature and Shimazu mon to base, height 24cm (chip to rim and cover repaired), together with a Satsuma vase, painted with a landscape, iron red painted signature and gilt Shimazu mon to base, height 25cm.
