AGOULT, Raymond. An archive of material relating to the composer and conductor Raymond Agoult, and his wife, contained within 10 albums, including photographs of his travels and concerts, newspaper cuttings, and various letters, the majority 1930s to 1950s and mounted with adhesive tape. Note: Agoult formed a light orchestra for the 'Morning Music' and 'Music While You Work' radio programmes. This became known as Raymond Agoult and his Players. This combination broadcast until 1966. In the 1970s he formed the Raymond Agoult Master Band. He conducted two albums, both for Decca Records.
