A late Victorian mahogany four glass mantel timepiece with brass single fusee movement, the backplate detailed 'J.W Benson London 9258', the silvered rectangular dial with black Roman numerals and inscribed 'J.W Benson, London', within an engraved foliate surround, the rectangular case with bevelled glass panels, on a stepped rectangular base and bracket feet, height 29cm, with pendulum and winding key.
