A late 19th century slate mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the black chapter ring with gilt Roman numerals framing a visible escapement and inscribed 'A.D. Terwee, Leeuwarden', the drum head case above scroll supports and a glazed lenticle, on a rectangular plinth base, with incised and gilt foliate decoration, height 44.5cm, with pendulum and winding key.
