LATIN. Caeremoniale Episcoporum Clementis VIII Pontificis Maximi Nouissimé Reformatum. [N.p. but Rome:] Augustae Tavrinorum, 1612. 4to (227 x 168mm.) Engraved vignette to title, titles in red and black, initials, staves to rear, engraved colophon, 19pp. blank to rear. (Contemporary underlining in ink, damp-stain to lower margin throughout, browning, a typed-written two paragraph insert explaining the history and meaning of the 'Caeremonialis Episcoporum' tipped-in to the front-free endpaper.) Contemporary calf, elaborate blind-tooled decoration around a gilt foliate lozenge to upper and lower covers (rubbed, spine missing). Provenance: Anthony Howe Denney (bookplate to front pastedown). - And two further related volumes (including 'Officium Beatae Mariae Virginis', 1770, 12mo) (3).
