A pair of Meissen porcelain sweetmeat baskets, late 19th century, modelled as a reclining lady and gentleman, each supporting a floral encrusted oval basket, raised on scroll edged bases picked out in turquoise and pink enamels and gilding, crossed swords with strike beneath in underglaze blue to each base with incised and painted numerals, lengths 16.5cm and 17cm (minor repair to her ankle).
