A George III oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the silvered break arch dial with engraved decoration, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, beneath inscription to the arch 'Andrew Dods Selkirk', the arched hood with glazed door, the arched trunk door with inlaid lyre and pendant swags, on a similarly inlaid base and bracket feet, height 215cm, with pendulum and two weights (alterations and faults).
