LOT 1140
An early Victorian oak bracket clock with eight day twin fusee movement striking on a bell, the circular brass dial with black Roman numerals and inscribed 'De la Salle & Christie Cannon Street London', the case with stepped surmount above pierced fret panels and plinth base, height 35.5cm, with pendulum. Note: James Thomas de la Salle and William Christie were in partnership between 1825 and 1845, trading from their Cannon Street premises.
