A late 19th century French silver gilt and cut glass claret jug, the tapering neck, spout and hinged lid decorated with borders of leaves and a shield shaped cartouche, flanked by a twin ribbon and reeded handle, the globular body with star cut decoration, on a circular foot, by Emile Puiforcat, height 23cm.
