LOT 4208
A Dutch or German pale green tinted Daumenglas and cover, late 17th/early 18th century, of barrel shape with eight concave thumbholes to the middle section between trailed banding, with an applied ring foot, height 24cm (main body cracked, finial glued). Note: the concave holes were to aid a firm grip, as these drinking vessels became quite heavy once filled.
