A pair of Chinese famille verte porcelain circular dishes, Kangxi period, each centre painted with a landscape, one with a shoreside scene of figures in a boat and crossing a bridge between rocks and trees with mountain beyond, the other with women sorting silkworms within pavilions, as children skip-rope outside, each within an iron red diaper border divided by six cartouches filled with birds and flowers, underglaze blue seal marks to bases, diameter 37.5cm (glaze fritting to rims). Note: a similar dish can be found in the V&A Collection, Museum Number CIRC 648-1931.
