A Chinese famille verte porcelain saucer dish, Kangxi period, enamelled with a design of four leaf shaped panels containing a maiden seated or standing in a terraced garden, reserved against a green ground, divided by iron red stylized buds, all centred by a cruciform motif with four blue glazed leaves, the underside with six ribboned precious emblems, underglaze blue lotus mark and double ring to base, diameter 28.5cm (hairline and minor repair to rim). Note: a similar pair of dishes was sold by Christie's, London, 17th June 2003, Lot 128, from the Hon. Mrs Nellie Ionides Collections.
