A large Mason's type two-handled ironstone vase and cover, 19th century, of high shouldered form, decorated in Imari colours and gilding with flowering peonies to one side and an elaborate cockerel to the other against a ground of blue flowers and foliage, flanked by blue and gilt stylized dolphin handles, unmarked, height 48cm (faults, losses and restoration).
