A Sèvres style porcelain oval dish with brass mounted bead border, late 19th century, the centre painted with a courting couple and lamb in a landscape, within a gilt overlaid bleu céleste border, brown painted pseudo interlaced 'L's mark to base, length 46.5cm (lacking handles or mounts to each end).
