A 20th century lacquered brass and black enamelled microscope, signed 'Carl Zeiss Jena, No 34777', and detailed 'IVa', with rack and pinion focusing, fine adjustment, mechanical stage and plano-concave mirror, unextended height 27.5cm, with accessories, cased, together with a brass mounted magnifying glass with cut glass handle, length 27.2cm.
