LOT 1180
A late 19th century French ormolu and jewelled porcelain mantel clock garniture, the clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate stamped with 'AB' (Achille Brocot) maker's mark, the porcelain circular dial with painted Cupid, gilt Roman hours and jewelled flowerheads on a pale green ground and inscribed 'Achille Brocot', the case with urn surmount above cast scrolls and festoons, height 35.5cm, flanked by a pair of matching twin branch candelabra, height 40cm (lacking pendulum).
