A George III mahogany musical bracket clock with eight day triple fusee movement chiming quarters on eight bells and striking hours on a larger bell, the backplate finely engraved with an urn and foliate scrolls, signed 'John Scott, London', the painted break arch dial with strike/silent indicator to arch above Roman hours and Arabic minutes and inscribed 'John Scott, Gloucester Street, London', the gilt brass mounted case with bell top inlaid with the Prince of Wales feathers above a pierced foliate frieze, cornered with urn finials, the glazed door with crossbanded decoration, flanked by a pair of herm and floral corner columns, the sides with carrying handles and pierced fret panels, on a plinth base and cast scroll feet, height 58cm (some faults), with pendulum and case key.
