An Indian ivory rectangular box, late 19th century, the hinged lid carved in low relief with a scene of a monkey presenting fruit to a seated Buddha with pavilion and trees beyond, the sides with further pavilions and trees, fitted with ivory hinges and locking clasp, on turned feet, length 16cm.
