FITZGERALD, Edward (translator). - JÁMI. Sáláman and Absál… an allegory translated from the Persian. London: J. W. Parker and Son, 1856. First edition thus, small 4to (215 x 148mm.) Frontispiece, 8pp. appendix to rear. (Pp.73-74 are missing and a duplicate of pp.21-22 are bound in their place.) Original cloth blocked in gilt and blind (small marks to lower cover). Provenance: Robert Milnes-Crewe (bookplate to the front pastedown); The West Horsley Place Collection.
