A late 19th century French ormolu and white marble mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate with stamped 'Japy Frères' maker's mark, the dial with Roman numerals, the case with cup and cover surmount flanked by ram's masks supporting festoons, the sides with applied masks, above acanthus borders, festoons, foliate scrolls, on toupie feet, height 36cm, with pendulum and winding key.
