A Meissen porcelain inkwell, circa 1730, of square shape, decorated in the manner of J.G. Höroldt with a harbour scene to each side within gilt framing and iron red detail, each side edge with polychrome enamelled detail, the upper surface with gilded scrollwork, crossed swords in blue to base, height 4.7cm (lacking cover, chip to base edge).
