A Chinese porcelain hu vase, mark of Xianfeng but probably later, the pear form body painted in famille rose enamels with three male and one female figure, between lengthy literary texts and red seal marks, the neck decorated with further texts, flanked by a pair of iron red moulded elephant head handles, iron red seal mark to base, height 38cm.
