A George III figured mahogany and silver mounted tea caddy, the hinged lid with applied silver scrollwork handle and shaped plaque, London, probably maker's mark for George Burrows, the interior fitted with a cut glass bowl flanked by a pair of lidded canisters, width 30.5cm. Provenance: from the estate of the late John Young (1927-2017).
