A 19th century French piqué inlaid faux tortoiseshell 'Boite a Mouche' box, the hinged lid inlaid with gilt and silver birds, flowering branch, stars and banding, the interior with two hinge-lidded compartments, length 5.8cm (two sections of inlaid banding missing).
