An early 20th century Continental silver gilt and plique-à-jour circular dish, the pierced shallow bowl decorated to both sides with coloured enamels and inset with turquoise, the central panel of the Madonna and Child within an inscribed border 'N.D Des Victoires Prixz Pour Moi... Vade Retro Satanas', above a demi-lune panel depicting the Devil, the top with foliate scroll thumbpiece, diameter 8.4cm.
