An early 19th century French brown patinated bronze, ormolu and Sienna marble mantel clock, the eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the silvered circular dial with black Roman hour numerals, the case modelled with a standing Cupid holding and writing on a tablet, leaning against a plinth, on a rectangular base with cast anthemion border and foliate scroll feet, height 43.5cm, with pendulum and key.
