A late 18th century Continental silver gilt hovedvandsaeg (spice box), probably Scandinavian, the heart shaped body decorated with scrolls, the hinged lid with figural surmount, the circular foot with hinged compartment flanked by a pair of lions, the hinged lid interior marked 'MG 90', height 10cm.
