An unusual Zsolnay Pecs Eosin lustre circular box and cover, circa 1900, of ribbed form, decorated in the round with stylized foliate medallions against a whorl ground, the cover with one large medallion within a border of circles, the base interior and cover underside with large flowerheads against a green/gold ground, painted mark and incised numerals '4990' to base, diameter 10cm.
