A Chinese hardwood centre table, late Qing dynasty, the rectangular panelled top supported by a short waisted frieze with carved angular scroll motifs, the apron finely carved in relief to all four sides with archaistic ruyi, 'C' and 'S' scrolls and bead motifs, raised on four pairs of square sectioned openwork legs, conjoining at the end with angular scroll terminal surmounted with a pyramidal knop, length 119cm, depth 37.4cm, height 82cm.
