A small collection of early 20th century African artefacts from the Belgian Congo, including a knife and currency apron with woven decoration, bearing paper label detailed 'Knife (Made from Shokas) Lokele Tribe, markings similar to those on faces of people', length 39cm, together with a group of currency bars, a hide bag and a beadwork staff. Provenance: the property of a Surrey collector.
