TAHITI. - Lady BRASSEY and Colonel STUART-WORTLEY. Tahiti… a series of Photographs. London: Samson, Low, Marston, Searle, & Rivington, 1882. First edition, 8vo (211 x 156mm.) 31 plates with tissue-guards from photographs taken by Col. Stuart-Wortley. (Some toning to margins, crease to front free endpaper.) Original pictorial blue cloth, g.e. (some spine lean, minor loss to top of spine, rubbed to extremities). Provenance: N. Warren Waterhouse (bookplate verso of the frontispiece). - And twenty-three books on travel (including Rebecca West's 'Black Lamb and Grey Falcon', 2 vols., 1942, 8vo) (24).
