Illustrated edition, 8vo (205 x 146mm.) 44 colour plates by Margaret Tarrant only (of 48), 12pp. of advertisements to rear. (Some spotting to preliminaries and fore-edge.) Original olive-green cloth with onlaid roundel (bumped to extremities), dust-jacket (tears and some areas of loss). Provenance: M.K. Thomas (name inscribed to half-title).
