BINDINGS. - Henry Noel HUMPHRIES. The Coinage of the British Empire. London: Charles Griffin & Company, 1863. Small 4to (237 x 160mm.) Colour frontispiece, 23 plates [12 chromolithographed plates], tissue-guards. (Damp-staining to edge of preliminaries, split to inner hinge at title-page.) Original elaborate Bois Durci binding showing the Royal Coat of Arms with foliate designs to corners, g.e. (wear to top of spine and rubbing to extremities with some loss to edges).
