First translated edition, 8vo (209 x 217mm.) 15pp. publisher's advertisements to rear. (Spotting to fore-edge.) Original tan cloth with gilt design to spine and upper cover (bumped to extremities). - And another volume (Rev. J. Stevenson's 'Translation of the Sanhita of The Sama Veda', 1842, 8vo). Provenance: Robert Milnes-Crewe (bookplate to the front pastedowns); The West Horsley Place Collection (2).
