LIVINGSTONE, David. The Last Journals of David Livingstone in Central Africa… from 1865 until His Death. London: John Murray, 1874. 2 vols., first edition, 8vo (222 x 136mm.) Signed by the publisher John Murray in a presentation signature to Lord Houghton in 1875. 2 frontispieces, 2 folding coloured maps including a general map in rear pocket of vol. 1, numerous wood-engraved plates, 6pp. and 20pp. publisher's advertisements to rear. (Small creases.) Original cloth (spines faded and bumped). - And two other volumes (Henry M. Stanley's 'In Darkest Africa', 2 vols., 1890, first editions, 8vo). Provenance: Robert Milnes-Crewe (bookplate to the front pastedown); The West Horsley Place Collection (4).
